Book Curate delivers a tailored range of services for you home, studio or office library, personally crafted and honed by founder Tavian Hunter. With our help, you can transform your messy and disorganised bookshelves into a functional and stylish library that’s reflects your reading interests and sense of decor.

Our aim is to help you present your collection how you want to display it and support you with personalising your collection. We do that by offering to bespoke services to catalogue, declutter or organise your books for you.

Tavian holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from University College London in 2015 and has worked in academic, private and specialist art libraries for over 8 years.
Tavian is a member of APDO (Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers) and has spoken at conferences and seminars in the UK and abroad.
Meet the Founder
Hi! I’m Tavian. As a private librarian, I’ve spent the last 8 years managing and consulting libraries on their collections and even longer building my personal collection of books.
From personal experience, I know how frustrating it can be when your shelves are constantly running out of space and there’s never the time to build, organise or weed your library the way you want to.
I created Book Curate because I’m passionate about helping people like you organise and style their home, studio or office library currently overflowing with books. Employing a bespoke approach and harnessing the skills and expertise developed working in libraries, I can help you organise, curate, catalogue and declutter your collection. And that means the work of curating your library no longer has to fall on your shoulders.
How does it work?
Step 1 Book Consultation
As standard, I offer a completely FREE 15-mins consultation, to listen your needs and find the service that best suits those needs.
We’ll have the chance to discuss your library and your vision for it going forward. If you want to work with me after that, our work can begin
Step 2 Select a Service
After the consultation is complete, we can decide which of my three services that best suits your needs and your library vision.
Secure a secure by filling out a short form and making a deposit. Sessions will last for three hours minimum.
Step 3 In-Home Visit
Your first session gives me the opportunity to visit your location and analyze your library in-person.
From there, we can understand the scale of the task and decide together whether future sessions are required.
Step 4 Enjoy the results!
Once services have been delivered, your library will be in much better shape and you’ll be able to enjoy the benefits that come with the outcomes of the services.
The space will now be expertly curated and organised in a way that’s tailored to your needs and preferences.
